I arrived in RVN 18 Oct 68 and was stationed with A Battery 6th/56th. Wounded in action last day of Feb 69 frag from a 122 mm rocket. went to Cam Rahn then to Camp Oji Japan and returned to CONUS in June 69. Separated 29 Jul 69 at Fort Bragg North Carolina.

I served with the 79th Ordnance Detachment until September 1968 when it was disbanded. I stayed on with C Battery, 6th Battalion, 56th Artillery. I was a 23Q20 – Pulse Acquisition. I made it to Chu Lai and LZ Oasis on occasion t repair and maintain the equipment used.

I am searching for the Ronald L. Richards who was a 05C20 Radioteletype Operator and assigned to the 19th Combat Engineer Battalion,, A-Company, 1st Platoon in Qui Nhon & Bong Son, Viet-Nam. Time 1966-1967.
